Akademiks Jeans

Akademiks jeans are popular with hip hop music fans all over. Founded by brothers, Emmett and Donwan Harrell, this brand became a rage in the year 2001, thanks to rapper Fabolous who advertised the brand in his lyrics. Akademiks men’s jeans feature two fits in their collection for mens jeans – the Tailored Fit and the True Fit.

The tailored fit has about 17 different styles which include the Smoke Wash, this is a regular rise jean with a vintage grey distressed wash design with flap back pockets and sandblast detail and some pieced denim patchwork. The Victory Jean is a solid black jean with some tri-coloured embroidery on the back pocket. It comes with a zipper fly and has a regular 5 compartment design. The Tunnel Tailored Fit Jean comes with an embossed logo on the back and front pockets. It has a slightly distressed type of design with a straight leg.

The True Fit series of Akademiks jeans features about 32 different styles. The Indigo Wash True Fit Jean has some paint splatter as detail on the legs, a distressed design and pieced material on the back pockets. The Fredro Denim comes with flap back pockets, logo embossing, a straight leg and a distressed design. The Goin’ Green Jean has a print text all over of ‘Akademiks’ as well as ‘Green 1999’. It has a slim fit with logo embossing. The other styles under this series are also innovative and very rugged in their looks making it quite popular with celebrities all over.
