Earnest Sewn suggests the brand’s commitment to manufacturing quality denim. One of the first American denim brands to show great interest in the Japanese tradition of denim, this brand was founded by designer Scott Morrison in 2004. Earnest Sewn jeans come in a wide range of fits and looks. The Syd series is a vintage fit collection. The Gage and Tough Rigid jeans have been milled in Italy and Japan while the sewing and washed detailing is done in the USA. These jeans have a straight leg fit their only difference being the colours and wash.
The Ace series is a slight boot cut fit collection. The Marrissey, Decca, Harlan and Baxter jeans are rigid jeans also milled in Italy and Japan and sewn and washed in USA. They all have faded and lived in detailing. The Fulton series are a straight fit jean and have many options in this series. Some have cuffed hems while the others look classic with their solid colours. Some have the destroyed look while others have faded and lived in detailing.
The Hutch series is a collection of boot cut jeans with varied washes and detailing. The Allister, for example, comes with fade to pale details while the Harrison comes with lived in detailing alone. The Kyrre series is a super low slim fitting jeans collection with 3 jeans in it - The Maz Dark, the Judd and the Marrissey. All of the Earnest Sewn jeans share the lived in detailing with a variety of washes.
